WORCESTER — Mirick O’Connell has signed a 10-year lease to remain in the Mercantile Center in downtown Worcester.
The law firm will occupy more than 32,000 square feet on the 16th, 17th and 18th floors of 100 Front St.
“We were one of the first tenants at 100 Front St., and have seen many exciting changes in the downtown area, particularly over the past several years,” said David E. Surprenant, Mirick O’Connell managing partner. “Our firm is committed to this community, and we look forward to being part of the continued revitalization of the city.”
Mirick O’Connell has been headquartered in downtown Worcester since its founding in 1916.
“Mirick O’Connell’s commitment to remain with us for the next decade is a significant one, especially during these challenging times we all face,” said Chip Norton, owner of Franklin Realty Advisors and managing director of Mercantile Center.
In the lease agreement, David Campbell of Hunneman represented the tenant (Mirick O’Connell) and Jim Umphrey and Will Kelleher of Kelleher & Sadowsky represented the landlord (Franklin Realty Advisors).
