Bushel ‘N Peck Location In Worcester Sold To Charlton Deli Owner, To Be Rebranded

The Chandler Street location of Bushel ‘N Peck, a longtime sandwich shop in Worcester, was sold to the owner of a Charlton restaurant on Friday. The remaining three Bushel ‘N Peck locations will be unaffected.

Perry Jano, owner of Perry’s Deli in Charlton completed the purchase on Friday, according to a Facebook post by Jano. The shop will be rebranded as Perry’s Deli.

“To all our customers we’ve completed the purchase of the Tatnuck Bushel and Peck we will have a second location very soon! Hope to see you all shortly! If anyone would like to join the team we are looking for full and part time employees!” said Jano in the Facebook post.

Mark Johns, vice president at Worcester real estate firm Kelleher & Sadowsky Associates, brokered the sale, according to a Monday press release from the broker.

Terms of the business sale were not released. The property, including the 1,900-square-foot building, was sold for $460,000, according to the Worcester District Registry of Deeds.

The owner of Bushel ‘N Peck, Michael Bartosiewicz, purchased the location through his corporation Ambarto, LLC in 2005 for $350,000.

Bushel ‘N Peck has other locations in Grafton, Clinton, and at 17 East Mountain St. in Worcester.

Perry’s Deli is located inside Ted’s Package Store at 27 Worcester Road in Charlton.
