Framingham-based medical alert company, Lifeline Systems Co., has leased 40,000 square feet of office space at 200 Donald Lynch Blvd. in Marlborough. Philip DeSimone, Andrew Sherman, and Brian Johnson of Worcester’s Kelleher and Sadowsky represented the lessor.

The site of the Worcester Surgical Center at 300 Grove St. has sold for $9 million to a local orthodontist and entrepreneur Sam Alkhoury. The site will remain as medical offices, said Drew Higgins of Kelleher & Sadowsky.

A 267,000-square-foot Class A warehouse will be constructed on a plot of land at 90 Huntoon Memorial Highway in Leicester. The site is under construction with completion expected in April.

The Worcester Registry of Deeds is extending its stay in the city’s downtown. The Massachusetts Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance has signed a new 10-year lease agreement for 15,859 square feet in the Mercantile Center, providing updated offices for the Worcester Registry of Deeds, which has been a tenant in the building for more than 15 years.

The 5.3-acre property of the former Lady of Mount Carmel Church on Mulberry Street in Worcester sold for $5.6 million. The sale is the culmination of a five-year effort which required Vatican approval, said Higgins, who represented the seller in the transaction with Kelleher & Sadowsky President Jim Umphrey.
