    Former Providence & Worcester HQ Sold For $1.9M

    The former Providence and Worcester Railroad headquarters at 75 Hammond St. in Worcester has been sold by the railroad for $1.85 million. The buyer was 75 Hammond Street LLC of Woburn, registered to Gilvan Miranda, owner and operator of MQM Cleaning and Facility Services.

    Tech Firm Moves Global Headquarter To Worcester From Boston

    Technology firm Xceedance has opened its new global headquarters at 1 Mercantile St. in Worcester, the former Unum building. In the lease agreement, Kelleher & Sadowsky’s Jim Cozza, Will Kelleher and Philip DeSimone represented Franklin Realty as lessor; Avison Yong of Boston represented Xceedance as lessor.

    Worcester Registry of Deeds Signs 10-year Lease in Mercantile Center

    The Worcester Registry of Deeds is extending its stay in the city’s downtown. The Massachusetts Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance has signed a new 10-year lease agreement for 15,859 square feet in the Mercantile Center, providing updated offices for the Worcester Registry of Deeds, which has been a tenant in the building for more than 15 years.
